Deborah Costine has been a professional puppeteer for over thirty years, performing for schools, libraries and museums, throughout New England. She is a favorite at The Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, MA.  In 2009 She won the UNIMA USA Citation for Excellence for "A Woodland Cinderella."  Other shows are "Three Pigs and Other Tales" and "The Twig Family in the Oak Tree." In 2010 she received a grant from the Jim Henson Foundation for her newest production; "Turtle's New Home," a story about the endangered "Blanding's Turtle" and it's friends, Beaver and Salamander.

Dream Tale Puppets offers charming interpretations of classic and loved tales: Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rumpelstilskin. Sarah has been performing before family audiences for more than twenty-five years. Her Funny Bone Tales presents two warmly humorous children's stories, Silly Sam and Bendemolena, The Cat Who Wore A Pot On Her Head, plus a gentle version of Punch and Judy. Lisa and her troupe of large puppets sing and dance for children of all ages in fun and educational theme shows. Children become an integral part of the show. Depending on the theme they may become George Washington or Amelia Earhardt, “swim” with fish and beach balls, rock with Elvis or parade as movie stars! These shows are filled with kindness, charm, humor, and the finest music. The large stage offers a true theatrical experience complete with lights, scenery, and special effects, for both marionettes and other types of puppets. The small stage is ideal for birthday parties; no marionettes are used due to size constraints. The birthday parties are written with an understanding of the interests and needs of the birthday child. Large shows are $280 plus travel. Small shows are $100 plus travel.

The Poobley Greegy Puppet Theater tours New England's elementary schools and libraries performing for 30,000 people a year, using hand, rod, shadow and string puppets in a unique multi-opening stage.

Puppets: Education Magic is a conference for educators held each summer in the New England area. There are workshops, performances, an exhibit, a store, and teacher sharing. Graduate credit option is offered by The Northeast Consortium/Salem State College. Artistic partners are members of BAGOP.

During the school year, there are weekend shows every Sat. and Sun. at 1 and 3 pm, as well as a special TOT show at 10:30 on Thursday morning, recommended for pre-schoolers, ages three to five. Weekend shows are recommended for audiences five years old and older. During school vacations there are shows everyday; consult the schedule for details. During the summer months, there are usually shows on Wednesday and Thursday.

Judith O’Hare is a puppeteer and educator; her work includes PERFORMANCES for children and families, WORKSHOPS for children and educators and GRADUATE COURSES for educators. She has won awards from the Puppeteers of America for her work in puppetry in education, and is the author/editor of Puppetry in Education and Therapy: Unlocking Door to the Mind and Heart.

Her current educational work includes teaching graduate courses for teachers through the Northeast Consortium, Salem State, and Merrimack Consortium, Fitchburg State, and planning and implementing conferences on Puppetry in Education and Therapy.

Her performance work includes: Toy Theater, “Petit Puppet Plays ” perfect for schools, libraries and special events. She collaborates with Dr. Robin D’Antona to present a program on Bullying Prevention through Puppetry Arts. She also performs larger participatory productions.
